The Optolong L-eXtreme is a dual-band, 7nm bandpass filter designed for astronomy imaging, specifically for capturing emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, and supernovae remnants. It is available in 1.25" and 2" mounted versions.

Dual-band filter with 7nm passbands centered on H-alpha (656nm) and OIII (501nm). Reduces light pollution and isolates emission lines for improved signal-to-noise ratio. Suitable for one-shot color cameras (DSLRs) and monochrome CCD cameras. More effective for fast systems due to its design.

The Optolong UV-IR Cut Filter is designed to block ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) wavelengths, allowing for sharper astrophotography images.
UV Blocking: Blocks UV wavelengths from 300-400nm, reducing haze and improving image contrast.
IR Blocking: Blocks IR wavelengths from 700-1100nm, reducing thermal noise and improving image sharpness.
Visible Transmission: Transmits 95% of visible light from 420-680nm, including crucial nebula emissions like H-alpha and SII.
Glass Quality: Made with Schott optical glass, polished to precision tolerances.
Mounting: Available in 1.25", 2", and 36mm sizes, with threaded inserts for easy mounting.
Coating: Fully multi-coated for minimal reflection and maximum transmission.

The Optolong CLS (City Light Suppression) broadband filter is designed to improve the visibility of various deepsky objects. By selectively reducing the transmission of wavelengths of light pollutants, specifically those produced by artificial lightings including mercury vapor lamps, both high & low pressure sodium vapor lights and the unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i.e. skyglow). Together with the high transmittance in main emission lines of nebulae, namely O-III(496nm and 500nm), H-beta (486nm), N-II(654nm and 658nm), H-alpha(656nm) and S-II(672nm), the filter is suitable for enhancing the contrast and details for both visual and photograghic purpose at sub-rural area.
