My first telescope ever, about 20 years ago, bought for visual exploration. What an amazing piece of equipment! It's one of the first telescopes with a GoTo function and it has brilliant optics. I have had about 15 years of visual pleasure with it, before moving towards more proper astrophotographic equipment. I am now trying to re-use the tube for a planetary setup on my equatorial mount.

My first Celestron and the one that introduced me to a more serious approach with the sky. This is an incredible instrument that can provide you endless stargazing pleasure. I bought it for its flexibility, but I sold it because it's not really made for traveling and I was more interested into Deep Sky subjects than Planetary photography. I tried it with a wedge and an Hyperstar. The wedge is useless. The Hyperstar is amazing, truly amazing, but hard to collimate properly and too delicate for shooting on the move.

The WO GT71 is my first William Optics tube. It does what it promises and its imaging quality is nothing less interesting than its more expensive brothers and cousins. I've got this telescope from my favourite and always excellent reseller Ganymedes, in Amstelveen, as a temporary replacement for my at the time yet to arrive GT81. What a service from them! I must say that I liked it so much that I had almost forgotten I had ordered a GT81, a few months earlier. The GT81 is even better though, expectedly, and I'm glad I own it.

The WO GT81 is AnPHunt's main tube at the moment. An upgrade from the previous GT71, which was as satisfying as the 81mm bigger brother in terms of imaging quality, but less luxurious in terms of available accessories. In terms of critical notes on this piece of equipment, I must say that I perfectly understand why William Optics invented the new WIFD technology for the new GT81 series...
